In the garden of this very peaceful museum, work of art from Greek,
Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods are exihibited. As you walk along the garden, pillar capitals, sargophagusus, reliefs, banister panels, Islamic grove stones, ceramic panels, babtistery polls, inscriptions, column tambourines, ambons, stellers, drainpipes take you back to the expansive, spacious antiy of history.Inside the museum , archeological remains, pieces from Ilıpınar theater and kiln furnice excavations are on exhibit. In the main division of the museum, prehistoric tiles, Greek-Roman-Byzantine ceramic ware, stone work, glas ware, coins, jewellery, oil lamps and metal work are anticipating the passion for the viewing of the inquisitive traveller. |

| In the back vaulted chamber together with 15-17th centuries İznik tiles, pots and plates mark time as noble as can be. In the room which has an opening to the right side of the main division ethnographic materials such as Byzantine and Ottoman ceramics, furnace utencils, handwritten manuscripts, coins, guns and pistols, ornaments, kitchenware, braziers, cloth bags for watches and islamic coins are on display.The room on the left displays iznik ceramics and tiles, furnice utensils feel at home.The rest of the museum contains decorative stone work from Greek-Roman-Byzantine ages. | |||
